Who is responsible for your data

What data we process and why

• Contact form: name, email and your message, to answer you. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
• Bookings: the data you give our booking provider (name, contact details, dates, payment) to manage your reservation. Legal basis: performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Hospitable processes this data on our behalf.
• WhatsApp and email: the data you send us when you write, to answer you. Legal basis: your request (art. 6.1.b) or our legitimate interest in answering (art. 6.1.f).
• Technical data: this website does not use analytics cookies. If you accept advertising in the cookie banner, the Meta pixel sends Meta the pages you visit, your IP address and browser data, so we can measure our Facebook and Instagram ads (legal basis: your consent, art. 6.1.a GDPR; you can withdraw it any time from “Cookie preferences”). The anti-spam check on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile) processes your IP address and browser data to tell people from bots; it is necessary to provide the service (art. 22.2 LSSI).

Who receives your data

Our email provider (contact form and email), Hospitable (bookings) and Cloudflare (anti-spam check) act as processors under contract. If you accept advertising, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd receives the pixel data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, and may transfer it to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area under the safeguards of the GDPR (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses). We do not sell your data or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Contact messages: until your question is answered and for one year after, unless a booking follows. Booking data: for the time required by tax and accounting law (generally six years in Spain).

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or port your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and you can withdraw consent at any time by writing to villasaroqueta@gmail.com. If you think we are not handling your data correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), www.aepd.es.
